Spontaneously we have had the strong impulse to travel to the UN Climate Change Conference in Madrid in December with The Citizen is Present. That means the red carpet will travel with us through Europe all the way from Berlin or Freiburg to Madrid by train.
We doing this because we believe that human connection is needed in order to find new solutions to the complex problems affecting humanity. We will be there with our artistic performance in the framework of the UN Climate Change Conference to provide a space for people to meet in silence.
Through the contact with the other person in a moment of silence the citizens have the possibility to stop and then go on with their day in a different way, being more present, more conscious.
Hopefully we will create more presence and a quiet space in which people first connect with themselves in order to then see the other person as a human being, regardless of his or her opinions.
When we meet as humans there might be the possibility to reflect together in a more serene and innovative way on the challenges that affect us all such as the global climate crises.
So we hope that we can be helpful in creating a space of witnessing in which polarities can be held.
We will be there from the 09th to the 12th of December.
Looking forward to meet you there!
Axel Perinchery, Sonia Herrero, Carmen Garcia, Susi Sanchez-Puga, Martin Bruders, Niko Schäpke and Robin Alfred

Collective Online Presencing for the UN Climate Conference COP25
The climate summit will begin run from 2nd to 13th December 2019 in Madrid, this decisive event will take place, at which the further action of the international community on climate change will be negotiated. Political leaders from all over the world will meet. They discuss what concrete action needs to be taken to keep global warming below 1.5 degrees (Paris Agreement). Thousands of representatives of civil society, business and universities are also meeting to discuss, exchange, learn from each other and form alliances. Measures will be taken to stabilise the climate.
What is the idea of Collective Online Presencing for COP 25? Our intention is to support the process through deep listening and presence. We invite you to follow our love for life in all its facets and forms, to attune to the UN COP 25 and to experience what is happening. We want to create a strong group field of silence and contemplation.
We are travelling from Germany, the UK, and Spain to Madrid and since the costs for the trip are very high, we would be deeply thankful if you could support this project with a donation. We need a total of 2500 Euro in order to cover our accomodation and travel costs. Do not hesitate to donate, even if it is only 5 or 10 Euro!
